Prof Nick Gottardo

Nick Gottardo is a paediatric oncologist/neuro-oncologist and Head of the Department of Paediatric Oncology and Haematology at Perth Children’s Hospital. He is also the Co-leader of the Brain Tumour Research Programme at the Telethon Kids Institute. He commenced as Chair of ANZCHOG in 2020 and is Chair of ANZCHOG's CNS Tumour Group.
Dr Chris Fraser

Chris Fraser has been a Senior Staff Specialist in Oncology and the Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at the Queensland Children’s Hospital since 2008. He was the Chair of ANZCHOG from 2014-2020 and has previously served as the Chair of the ANZCHOG TACTIC Group. He is currently serving as Immediate Past Chair of ANZCHOG.
Ms Liz Darch

Liz Darch is currently the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Oncology/Haematology/Transplant Inpatient Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital in Western Australia. She has been Vice Chair of the ANZCHOG Nursing Committee and has been an ANZCHOG Board member for the past 5 years.

Jordan Hansford is a paediatric oncologist in the Solid and Brain Tumour Division and lead of the Neuro-Oncology Group at the Royal Children’s Hospital. In 2018 he was named his sites Principal Investigator for the Children’s Oncology Group and lead of clinical research. Jordan joined the ANZCHOG Board of Directors in 2020 and also serves as Deputy Chair of ANZCHOG's CNS Tumour Group.
Dr Sarah Hunter

Starship Children's Hospital, Auckland
Sarah Hunter is Research Manager for Starship Blood and Cancer Centre and has a background in adult oncology nursing. Sarah oversees the paediatric and AYA oncology/haematology research programme at Starship and Auckland City Hospitals. She is the current New Zealand representative on the ANZCHOG Board.
Dr Richard Mitchell

Richard Mitchell is a Paediatric Haematologist/ Oncologist at the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children’s Hospital. He is Deputy Director of the Transplant and Cellular Therapies Program at the Kids Cancer Centre, and the Director of the Fellowship Training program. Richard re-joined the ANZCHOG Board in 2020 and is currently the Chair of the ANZCHOG TACTIC Group.

Andy Moore is a Senior Staff Specialist in Paediatric Oncology at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, working within the Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Transplant Service. In addition to his clinical oncology role, he is the Director of Clinical and Biomedical Research for the Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Andy joined the ANZCHOG Board of Directors in 2020 and also serves as Chair of ANZCHOG's Biobanking Network.

Hayley Vasileff is the Lead Pharmacist for Paediatric Haematology & Oncology at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in South Australia. Hayley joined the ANZCHOG Board of Directors in 2018 and is Chair of ANZCHOG’s Pharmacy Group.

A/Prof Geoffrey McCowage is a Senior Paediatric Oncologist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He has a particular clinical interest in sarcomas and in neuro-oncology, while his research interests are in clinical trials and cancer gene therapy. A/Prof McCowage is the CEO of Australasian Children’s Cancer Trials (ACCT).
