European Network of Paediatric Hodgkin Lymphoma Second International Inter-Group Study for Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma in Children and Adolescents

Hodgkin Lymphoma

The existing treatment for Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma(HL) has a very high cure rate, however the use of radiation as a part of standard treatment has a number of short and long term side effects. The purpose of the study is to reduce radiation related side effects by reducing the amount of radiation used when treating newly diagnosed children and adolescents.  In children and adolescents with intermediate or advanced stage classical HL, the study will also test if additional chemotherapy drugs or changing dosage can reduce the need for radiation.

The study aims to achieve a reduction in treatment-related side effects while still maintaining high rates of cure in children and adolescents with classical HL.
