Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting

11th – 13th of November 2020

Many of you may have concerns or queries regarding whether the 2020 COSA ASM will proceed. We wish to reassure all COSA members, delegates and sponsors that we are closely monitoring the situation and adapting as required to ensure the 2020 ASM can proceed as scheduled with a powerful scientific program at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, 11 – 13 November 2020.

As always participant health and safety is of utmost importance to COSA (COVID-19 or not), and they are ensuring us that all the necessary precautions are being taken regarding COVID-19. They will continue to closely monitor the situation as it evolves, and follow the advice of government and health authorities, keeping you informed of any changes as they develop.

Interest in the COSA ASM is very high, so they have decided to open abstracts! We encourage you to submit your work for consideration in the program, either for an oral presentation or in our planned virtual poster sessions.

They are currently planning for the ASM to proceed as a “hybrid” event with face-to-face and virtual content. Obviously, they will observe all necessary restrictions in place at the time.

It is unlikely international speakers will be able to attend in person unfortunately, so COSA are planning for their presentations to be either live streamed or pre-recorded.
