The Kids Cancer Project
During International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month ANZCHOG will be highlighting the work of our community partners throughout this month, sharing their inspirational stories and events.
The Better Challenge is on again this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, September 2022, hosted by The Kids’ Cancer Project. The challenge once again inspires participants and teams to run, walk or roll 3km a day or 90km over the month which represents the 90 Australian children (3 per day) who will be diagnosed with cancer in the month of September.
Last year more than 3000 participants raised over $1million dollars for childhood cancer research as part of the Better Challenge in 2021. Watch the reaction when The Kids’ Cancer Project, CEO Owen Finegan zoomed the successful researchers on the 1st of October the day after the campaign to let them know that their applications were successful.
