New funding to support three ANZCHOG trials

Three new international trials for childhood cancers will be opened in Australia.
The Australian Government has announced that they will support two paediatric brain cancer trials and a rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) trial through the Australian Brain Cancer Mission and the Medical Reach Future Fund.

The following ANZCHOG trials will be supported:

  • Far-RMS – The Frontline and Relapse study in RMS
  • COZMOS – A phase I/Ib trial of COmbined 5′-aZacitidine and carboplatin for recurrent/refractory paediatric brain and solid tuMOurs
  • SJ ELiOT – St Jude – Phase 1 Evaluation of LY2606368, Molecularly-Targeted CHK1/2i Therapy, in Combination with Cyclophosphamide or Gemcitabine for Children and Adolescents with Refractory or Recurrent Medulloblastoma Brain Tumours.
