The Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative and Cancer Symptom Trials Annual Research Forum

17th – 18th of March 2022

The Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative (PaCCSC) and Cancer Symptom Trials (CST) Annual Research Forum will be held on 17 and 18 March 2022.

This years them is Clinical trials: new priorities.

PaCCSC and CST, are setting new research priorities to ensure their research programs are focused in the areas of greatest need as well as on communities who are underrepresented in research and clinical trials.

The event program will bring together guest speakers who will share their expertise and lead discussion on how to best meet the challenges facing diverse communities.

Keynote speaker

They are looking forward to welcoming keynote speaker, Dr Hsien Seow, who will be joining them from Canada.

Dr. Hsien Seow is the Canada Research Chair in Palliative Care and Health System Innovation and an Associate Professor at McMaster University, Department of Oncology in Ontario, Canada.

Hsien focuses on ways to improve palliative care delivery and the care experience, particularly in the home and community. Hiss expertise is in health services and policy research, population-based analytics, and patient-reported outcomes research in cancer. He is the co-host of the podcast, The Waiting Room Revolution.
