Robyn Strong

Chief Executive Officer

Robyn works closely with the ANZCHOG Board, developing and operationalising ANZCHOG’s strategic plan. Robyn provides oversight to all of ANZCHOG’s office activities and is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with ANZCHOG’s national and international partners and supporters. She provides overarching management of ANZCHOG-sponsored trial activity.

Annette Dempsey

National Trials Manager

Annette leads the ANZCHOG National Trials Centre and provides high level quality oversight of ANZCHOG sponsored clinical trials. She provides ongoing management support throughout the clinical trial life cycle, liaising with our international sponsor partners and stakeholders including through early development activities, operational planning, project management and problem solving expertise.

As Lead Clinical Trial Monitor Nicole is responsible for all on-site monitoring activities related to ANZCHOG sponsored trials. She ensures that they are conducted, recorded and reported in accordance with the protocol, standard operating procedures, good clinical practice and other applicable regulations.

Shaye provides essential administrative support to ANZCHOG National Study Coordinators and trial sites through management of general administrative and clinical trial administrative tasks, CTRAs, eCTNs, ANZCTR and the ANZCHOG Children’s Cancer Clinical Trials Repository.

Clinical Trial
Monitor

Ciara is responsible for on-site monitoring of ANZCHOG sponsored clinical trials as well as managing quality-related documentation and workflows, contributing to the identification and mitigation of quality risks and continuous improvement of processes. She ensures trials are conducted, recorded and reported in accordance with the protocol, standard operating procedures, good clinical practice and other applicable regulations.

All of ANZCHOG’s National Study Coordinators are responsible for the central coordination and conduct of ANZCHOG-sponsored clinical trials.

They act as the primary point of contact for all participating centres and work closely with international sponsors and Australian regulatory bodies to ensure all trial requirements are met.

Sara
Field

Operations & Finance Manager

Sara acts as the main point of contact for the ANZCHOG office, coordinating the day-to-day administration. She manages the ANZCHOG disease, discipline and special interest groups and is responsible for providing financial management of ANZCHOG’s portfolio. She also coordinates ANZCHOG projects such as the clinical trial registry and the FMFC Brain Cancer Clinical Trials Program. Additionally, she provides operational support for the ANZCHOG Annual Scientific Meeting.

Communication & Media Lead

Benjamin is responsible for developing and executing both internal and external communication strategies. This role involves managing media relations, crafting compelling content, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, including social media, press releases, and internal communications.

He leads communication campaigns, manages crisis communications, and works to align all communication efforts with ANZCHOG’s strategic goals.

Kylie plays a key role in managing ANZCHOG’s research grants portfolio, overseeing activities such as negotiating agreements, processing variations, and ensuring all project milestones and reporting requirements are met. Her role involves close collaboration with the Monash Research Office, Principal Investigators and National Trial Coordinators to support the smooth delivery of funded research.

Jess plays a key role in coordinating several of ANZCHOG’s discipline and special interest groups, and supports the delivery of major projects such as the Equitable Pathways Program. She also provides operational support for the ANZCHOG Annual Scientific Meeting.

Grants & Scientific Writer

Simonne leads the development of competitive grant applications and scientific communications for ANZCHOG.

A medically qualified clinician, she collaborates with investigators and trial teams to translate
complex paediatric oncology research into clear, compelling submissions aligned with national and international funding priorities, supporting the growth and long-term sustainability of ANZCHOG’s strategy.

Sarah provides operational and project support across ANZCHOG, coordinating organisational activities, stakeholder engagement and key initiatives. She supports the delivery of projects, events and governance processes, helping to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the organisation.
